Yes, that's what I mean. I think I'm one of the best in talking but I make mistakes in the grammar. But I can't say I'm the best cause we have an in america born girl in our class and her accent is almost perfect.

umm, i think, you can compare this sentences with your school marks, but not only. 'cauz there you learn for a test things, and here you just write 'bout god and the world;) and taht's more difficult:D

the english you learn at school is only the basis. you have to travell, do exchanges with english-speaking countries to learn the 'real' english!

You hate weekends? I hate school. Better sleeping than learning. I've got holidays this week and I'm so happy about it. But one week 's too short-.-

So, i've got a few pics of all my cats xD

the pic left above [right word?^^] is Tiger [he died in 2003]
the 7 pics right above are Honey
and the 3 pics down are Brownie I think. But it's hard to differentiate here.
Brownies face is broader [right word? o.ô]. And normally the nose is brown but the light is different in each pic.

@ Rachel:Very sweet...=) How old are they?
@ all the others: I think so, too.(about the Englisch I learn @ school)
The vocabulary for example....is not important for your "real-life" Englisch, is it?
Have you ever taken part in an exchange? (is that correcz..?)

Tiger is still dead, he was about a few months when I took the pic.

Honey & Brownie are 9 weeks.

And of course the english we learn at school is different than "real" english. It's the same when english people learn german. No one of us would talk like that.

Oh, really sweet cats, Rachel, soo cute :)

And yeah, of course the school English is different to that you use in every day life. Next summer I'll go to Brighton for three weeks, I'm really looking forward to that. :)
A girl in my class was in the USA for half a year and she loved it there! She was already very good at speaking English before that but now her English has really changed, she's so good at it and she doesn't have an accent anymore!

Really, you've been in Brighton? That's cool! A girl in my class was there and she told me that it was so cool, so I decided to go there. Did you like it there?
And yes, I want to go to London too, because it's not so far away and well... you have to use that, right? ;)
