the english accent, exspecially the brithish.Oh my god, when i was in England in September (it was my first time..) i just went crazy when i heard a REAL BRITISH PERSON SPEAKING ENGLISH in FRONT OF ME!!
That was such a great feeling,to hear a real person speaking this wonderful accent.I heard it just on TV and Videos before.
And my hostmother spoke very cute,i love to hear this language. It sounds so soft and fluid...i think german sounds so hard and strong for other people... but i like every accent a little bit, there are always things i like about them, just because it sounds different than that, what I am used to hear.

i´ve also choosen the english accent.
BUT i think we have to decide between oxford-english-speekers and manchaster-english-speekers because they sounds very different.
i like the oxford-accent more, but i have to like the manchaster accent, because i will go there next summer for 2 years, so...
if i come back my english will sound more manchaster-like :D
my whole family is more american so it will be very funny

I must admit that I first fell in love with the British Accents in general. Thanks to Harry Potter actually :)
However, I did not hear Irish and Scottish often, so English was top. Now, I'm not so sure anymore...Scottish sounds terrific! I have a Scotland course at school and we celebrated Burns Night and I had to do the Address to the Haggis, so I had to try to speak real hard core Scottish. It works out better if you lose any restraints and try to exaggerate. Of course it was far from good, but considering that I have never been in Scotland it was not that extremely bad either. I guess if I spent a lot of time there it could become quite good. However, I think the Scotts will always hear you're not from there, it's a unique accent you can only imitate to a certain degree.

Well, I dunno...it both sounds great, it's just very different and unique in its own way.

I think British English is damn boring.
Everytime I have to listen to a British, I feel kinda "Can't they get the stick out of their asses?"
My teacher also teaches British English and because I pronounce words more like the American do, he's givin me worse marks than everyone else -.-
Quote: "About 11 to 12 points... but wait. You always sound like an American teenager, you're talking some kind of slang..... 6 points". Me: WTF?! O___O

To the topic: I had to read a book written in "Irish English" and I really like the way they're talking, so I chose "Irish" ;)

Um, I love the Australian accent. It's so cute. And I love the American accent.
I'm also speaking with an American accent. So if I had to choose - I'd take the American one. :)
